He knew in order to sustain and grow his dream, Porsche would have to export its products to larger, more affluent markets like the United States, which had been virtually untouched by World War II.” While we’re on the topic, I have a close friend who has totaled more Porsches than you can count on two fingers. He, for one, is still buying them. Why? Nothing drives like a Porsche.

For as much as I want to turn away from this Multicolor Jacket from Berhard Willhelm, I came to have a better understanding of why he even considered this design after reading this quote on Oki-ni.  ”Each collection is an experiment involving the question of how I can manage to juggle good and bad taste, or rather what people perceive as bad taste in our society. What I love about fashion is that it is all about overcoming that threshold of embarrassment. There are always some pieces that let you act something out – a feeling, or bad taste, or maybe just a provocative concept. Some of the best ideas come from being bored!” Respect.
