Only a few months ago we were moaning about not being able to find any trousers/chinos with patterned lining – now we can’t swing a cat without hitting a pair. While there’s been a number of high street versions, we reckon this is the sort of style you’re gonna want to spend a little money on; if you’re planning on wearing something everyday, you need it to hold up to a little wear and tear. And no, that pair you got from H&M isn’t gonna do the job. (Browns)

Care to explain why these CdG ones are more likely to ‘hold up to wear and tear’? Are they particularly heavyweight cotton? Hidden rivets? Something?
If it’s just ‘hey, they look nicer than most’, say so. But don’t claim it to be some massive quality/construction advantage if it’s not.
Some time ago I saw a guy with something that looked like Pendleton linning on the inside of his chinos. Any ideas of where those can be bought?
To answer Bork: Although I don’t have these, but I have put them on, felt the cotton and whatnot and it’s better quality (and by that I mean the cotton is clearly tougher and more durable) than the high street versions I was comparing it to. I probably should’ve made that clear in the main post, but that’s one of the advantages of these interwebs.
You can get the Pendleton Chinos from the Opening Ceremony webstore, its a collab between them and Pendleton. I would have liked a pair, but fact that it had a belt attached bothered me, I’d rather pick my own accessories.
Is there a reason why my comments are never posted? I thought it was because I was a little harsh on some stuff, but I posted almost the same thing Melton did here and I still rejected.
