Selectism - Billy Reid "Tennessee Love" T-Shirt for Nashville Flood Relief

Tennessee’s own Billy Reid is doing his part to help the victims of the Nashville floods with this benefit t-shirt which pushes 100% of the proceeds back into his city. “If you love the Grand Ole Opry, Whiskey, Honky Tonks, Down Home Cooking, The Batman Building, & Bluegrass then grab up one of these tees. Net Proceeds from the sale of this tee go directly to flood relief in Tennessee.” The t-shirt is a bit hidden under the Men’s “New Arrivals” link.

  1. Caitlin:

i think that its good that people are helping as much as they can, espically since it was so sudden, but the people in tennesse deserve alot of help after everything that they do fer us, i hope things get back to normal(:

  2. FFFlackery:

Flood relief comes with a souvenir? Tacky. Give that $38 directly to flood relief, not what’s left over after someone buys a T-shirt.

  3. axsvn:

    FFFlackery… Really… Are you serious? ಠ_ಠ

  4. FFFlackery:

Yes. the Billy Reid T-shirt costs $38 and only what’s left over after Billy pays for making the T-shirt will go to flood relief. So, before you buy a T-shirt, where only part of the money goes to flood relief, just give the whole $38 to flood relief? When did it become cool to say, I’ll give to flood relief but only if I can get a T-shirt or a coffee mug or some other tchotsky. And, when did it become cool to use flood relief to promote your own wares.

  5. As noted in the post, all of the money goes to flood relief.

  6. FFFlackery:

Sorry, but the post says the Net Proceeds go to flood relief. That’s different than saying all the money goes to flood relief.
