The OC Blog just posted up a behind the scenes look at the upcoming Pendleton for OC AW10 lookbook. You can’t see very much of the clothes (as is expected of a preview) but what you can see looks like the good ol’ slimmed down silhouettes we’ve become accustomed to. There’s also a sneak peek of the OC autumn/winter 2010 footwear collection, which you can see after the leap.

Remember when Our Legacy briefly flirted with those thigh-skimmingly high shorts? Some folks were down with it – we’ve never been fond of anything higher than ‘just above the knee’ – but apparently not enough as they’ve remade their shorts in slightly longer form this time. Olive is a fetching alternative from the khaki and navy pairs being offered everywhere and it goes without saying – although we’re gonna say it anyway – that these are well made for the price. Here’s an interesting one. New menswear line A. Sauvage have undertaken a photographic project entitled ‘this is not a suit’. A venice-beach based portrait series, it focuses on folks with the sort of lived-in faces every man aims for. Or, as the press release states, it’s ‘a case study of the artist’s ongoing fascination with the internal and external influences that enable individualism’.  Be sure to check out their Tumblr.

They’r 42 bucks. That’s not a bad price (unless you live in Los Angeles) for some simple kickers to beat, trash, walk, and rave in. They feature a jute braided sole and 3 eyelet lace up. They pretty much sell themselves. Consider then over a deck shoe this Summer. More importantly, beat the crap out of them. OAK has them.

Here’s the scoop: Dean & Trent are a Manila, Philipines based company putting our some casual fashions for their market. For Spring they worked with Wright Supply Co. on a group of looks that are not only appropriate in their homeland but just about any streets or shores. Here’s hoping them get some distribution outside of their shores.
