Each wrap is finished with sterling silver rings and a lizard skin tab, all by a skilled artisan. Due to the limited quantity, only 100 of each vintage silk color way will be made in the Tie Wrap Bracelet, making each a true collector’s item.”

Saturdays Surf NYC has been a favorite stopping point during any of our Soho visits since they opened in the Spring of 2009. This summer the empire expands, just a little, with the launch of a full in-house collection. Designed by the trio of owners – Morgan Collett, Josh Rosen, and Colin Tunstall – the gear mixes surf and city. It is, as you’d imagine, casual and fun. Emphasis on shorts with well detailed knits.

As in-state breweries continue to conquer New York City taps, one producer from Long Island is well worth keeping an eye for during the hot months. Only a year old, Greenport Harbor Brewing Co. makes an excellent Summer Ale that balances the beer drinker’s need for body and taste without going overboard on hops. Try it in Manhattan at Brinkley’s or in Brooklyn at Roberta’s, or just grab a growler from Bierkraft or the Whole Foods Beer Room. A summer beer that doesn’t suck is always worth celebrating.
