This collection was lighting up Twitter this afternoon. Adam Kimmel’s Spring/Summer 2011 collection comes out blazing with a collection of SoCal inspired looks. We have also confirmed what everyone expected. Kimmel’s people tell us the collection is indeed directly inspired by Snoop Dog. Hell yeah it is.

He has single handedly reshaped the English language and created a personal style that is its own animal. For my 2011 Spring Summer collection, I decided to go Doggy style. It’s Compton via Italy”

Wow Adam Kimmel was able to make those clothes so elegant. His fabric choices are spot on. The prints in this collection/beautiful. Each year he makes us see what a master-fashion-mind he has.
‘Master-fashion-mind” sounds like a monster name but a monster whose clothes I’d buy! It’s really impressive how the Kimmel brand keeps evolving- never loosing its masculinity. I stole my ex’s AK jacket from fall 2008 and I wear it. Dont know how he makes the clothes that look so good on men-look so good on women. I think it’s cause the texture is always surprising-always fine and soft.
