Produced by Bernhardt, designer Jaime Hayon’s latest sofa and armchair set, Bardot, follows curves influenced by the flow of the human body. Hayon attempts to make full, comfortable pieces that don’t overwhelm small spaces yet still maintain a generous feel. The seating furniture is subtle and sophisticated, and upholstered in different colors works well in the product shots… and would probably do equally well in the home.

Tim Hamilton’s “redux” polo shirt may do the trick. “Navy pique cotton short sleeved polo shirt with a contrasting black panel that fastens with buttons at the waist. The J. Crew Liquor is now carrying these side buckle work pants from the Heller’s Café/ Warehouse collaborative line (which was established in 2008). The work pants are more in the form of turn of the century miner’s pants. They feature a candle pocket, a casual cut, and side buckles for adjusting the waist line.

Check this new leather cuff from Vancouver’s Palmer & Sons. The simple cuff is made to work in a loose or tight fit configuration. The lettering is stamped using an original 1950’s metal stamper. How did the P&S guys get to this cuff? ”We tend to see nice ‘things’ before we then realise them into designs.  With the No 12c Cuff we first saw the small chromed pin; it then took us about 3 months to work out what to do with it.”

Sale pick time. Anything white (well, apart from white shirts) immediately carries summer connotations, so this is one piece that’s well suited for the warmer months. It’s not one for the super-classic-throw-anything-out-that’s-not-navy-or-grey crowd, but we think more than a few guys could pull this off. Our only complaint  – and there’s always a complaint – is that the straps on this would make carrying anything heavy quite the workout. (ASOS)
