Airbag Craftworks previewed two forthcoming tote bags which should be available shortly. The canvas is dyed in two Spring 11 friendly colors. They are expectedly finished with leather straps. The grey, again, is the standout.

Veja showcased a bunch of new variety of colors for Spring 2011. The roomy side pockets make it perfect as a fat day brief, or drop a shirt into the center pocket for a quick overnight stay (with space for your laptop). Which color do you prefer?

There is no shortage of quality canvas sneakers. Still, that hasn’t stopped two well known American brands from getting together to make a few more.

Keds, makers of the “Original Sneaker,” have produce a quartet of shoes for mega-retailer GAP. The color choices are reflections of GAP’s Autumn palette. The material choices, too, draw from GAP, and the whole set up works to give the collaboration just enough character to separate slightly from like wares.

b Store previewed some forthcoming looks from their work with Liberty of London for Spring 2011. Liberty’s fabrics are in full use in the collection. While not all looks may be friendly to the gents, the white shirt which overlays on top of the Liberty fabrics looks great.  Expect shirts, jackets, and more.

We first met Japan’s Anachronorm in Paris this winter. Now, at Bread & Butter, Anachronorm showcases their collection of “riding outfits” and “urban uniforms.” We focused on their jackets inspired from those worker shoots of a time past. The layered vests and work coats look great. Be sure to check their Autumn 2010 collection as well for more “attention to detail” outwear. UNION in LA carries them for those Stateside.

Kangol doesn’t stray too far from the expected with their Summer 2010 collection.

Items like the above number, with ship type print, do show a slight increase in flair, but most of the offerings stick to the tried and true. Kangol flat caps are basically timeless, and color seasonal color choice only serves to update the look for the immediate moment. For the most part, Kangol continues to offer accessible, simple, and largely safe headwear. Good stuff, which keeps well to the Kangol DNA.

Fashion Week continues to roll through Berlin. Edwin is of course in town showing their Spring 2011 looks. We pulled these styled looks. Workwear looks are mixed with proper varsity outers… and of course their denim. True Japan Selvedge is being pushed. Edwin is a great alternative to some of the more difficult of small run Japan denim labels.

Red Wing’s dir. of product development for lifestyle, Dave Hill, pointed out their broadening use of color for Spring. While it may not be into the levels of turquoise seen on the menswear side, they do use proper deep blues and greys which simply pop their boots instantly. What Red Wing has done well is keep their head on properly during the emergence of the heritage explosion.

Brazilian designer Dalcacio Reis takes us through 180 innovative projects in Product Design in the Sustainable Era. The book, published by Taschen, celebrates and explores the rich range of eco-friendly designs hitting the market today. Bicycles (above), bottles, guitars, and paper are just a few of the items highlighted in the book. Each made, of course, through inventive use of recycled and sustainable material.

Yuketen’s collection is never small. Their Spring 2011 collection, which we only show a portion here, is a vast collection which may truly offer a shoe for everyone.
