Hong Kong’s The Perfect Tangent line of fashion is “seeks to express the beauty of intelligent design. It is de- signed for men who appreciate functional details without compromising elegance.” The slope sweat sweater shown above is great take. with panel blocks on the sides as is the short trench (both shown above).

RIMOWA’s “Bolero” line of luggage is a take on the polycarbonate shell luggage which works visually. The best feature is of course the ability of the shell to take a hit and return to place – any dents can be knocked back out without damage to the luggage itself. “t offers a more fully featured upgrade from the Rimowa Salsa collection to make traveling even more enjoyable. The feature that sets this series apart from the others is the useful pockets on the front. The telescopic handle has an aluminum finish and the top and side carrying handles are recessed and very comfortable.”

Denim masters, Self Edge, are opening doors on their new and “largest” store in the city of Angels, Los Angeles this week. The new Self Edge located at 144 La Brea Ave., will house all the brands found in their San Francisco and New York City stores. It officially opens tomorrow, September 1st. Here’s a look at some exclusive looks at the debut collection from Oak Street Bootmakers. Founder and designer, George Vlagos, personally designed each silhouette in Chicago while production was completed in Maine (New England for the win).  Not surprisingly, Chi-town’s Horween supplied the leather across the entire line. Secret Forts has walked in a pair and give it their approval as well. Looking forward to seeing more from Oak Street Bootmakers.
