Over the years, I have owned my fair share of Denon hardware. They’re cassette dupicators kept me busy before I discovered DAT player decks – which many people still use to this day. Now in celebration of their 100th anniversary, Denon is releasing a series of new components including this direct drive DP-A100 turntable. The specs are on point for a direct drive table. For those looking for more info on the design: “The DP-A100’s beautiful cabinet has been made with sliced veneer of natural wood and given a multi-coat finish similar to lacquer to produce a deep glossy luster.” Also includes a lovely brand book. Simply beautiful. (core77)
