Mark McNairy continues to work with Engineered Garments on footwear. The latest release includes the Long Wing Brogue and the Long Wing Boot. Both feature a mixed grain leather/calf leather upper in black, resulting in a classic premium shoe with nice details. The shoe and the boot are now available from Tres Bien.

A few seasons ago, jackets cut like this would have been a hard sell. But now, with the reintroduction of the rollneck and all that, it’s a much easier proposition. Of course it’s still a shock to the system – especially for folks used to their jackets having collars. But that’s where the rollneck/turned up shawl collar comes in. Oh, the hate may flow on this one. The back and forth amongst the crop of men’s bloggers and Twitter posters has tried to enforced a defined profile of where and when you can wear flip-flops. We tend to agree with most of their opinions on their use (keep them off concrete is the jist). While this writer will not partake in the argument, he will show you these new flops from Havaianas for Bastian.  You probably received a pair if you hit his recent show. (gq)
