Made from Pendleton Woolen Mills’ pure virgin wool, Native(X) is a new brand aiming to highlight Native American arts and fashion. Perhaps it is the next wave of the heritage movement. If not, the designs have legs and the price point is commendable – topping out at $35. “The scarf wrap (Casca and Dryden) measures 128 inches by 3.5 inches and is perfect for creative styling. The traditional scarf (Kinzel, Sage, and Thurston) measures about 62 inches in length and 5 inches in width, accented with three inches of self-fringe on each end. Branded with a leather artisan label, these iconic symbols of America’s past have plenty of modern mileage, and are woven and constructed in the USA.”

I just bought a pair of these scarves for the Holidays.
After researching Native(X) on my own, I am very impressed on how their modern apparel features the styles, arts, and lifestyles of indigenous populations. I see this as a distinct and revolutionary fashion precedent. I look forward to the developments that this brand will make in the near future.
