Tretron Stråla Vinter Boot

Swedish brand Tretorn releases their seasonal rain boot the “Strala Vinter.” The slip on ankle boot comes insulated with “100% waterproof natural rubber.” The gum rubber outsole, “boa lining and footbed” make the boot. The boot is offered in four colorways and in different colors soles. If you’re looking for something that won’t get wet and is well made, this boot’s for you. From Tretorn.

Can anyone comment on the quality of these? Reviews on Zappos note that the rubber cracks at the bend-point after only a couple months… Worrying.

I have owned these for a year now and only wear them when it rains or snows. Mine are still in great shape and no cracking whatsoever. So, with 2 months straight of everyday use and abuse, not sure if they crack are not. These are lightweight, comfortable, reasonably priced and keep your feet dry. What else can you ask for?
