On view through January 16, 2011 at the National Theater in London, the “Landscape Photographer of the Year 2010″ exhibition highlights photographers capturing subjects as diverse as Oxford Circus and the Scottish Highlands. The diversity of image is most impressive, reminding not just of Britain’s agricultural tradition, but of its legacy in urban architecture as well. The prize is sponsored by both Network Rail and Natural England.
A selection of works from the exhibition follow.

So Awesome! Nice Picture
HDR photos look like a plastic McDonold’s hamburgers to me. I like the angle of the shot from paris but im worried about the future of photography. I think its just not my cup of tea this digital altering business. There is no way to tell if a photographer is good or good at photoshop. How could Richard Misrach be compared to this im not even sure they should both be called photography, maybe digital imaging would be a better term for these type of photos. I think i should just accept defeat and accept that digital photography makes a lot of practical sense. I feel so many people have grown up on genetically modified apples which they love because they have never had an organic one, thats the current state of photography.
I couldn’t have said it better my self Trevor!
I’ve fallen victim to it myself, getting a DSLR and thinking oh now I can just capture anything and turn it into something on my computer, basically the reverse logic of what good photography is about, a good photographer knows whether or not he has got a great capture before he is even seen a developed image. This realisation taught me that im a mere beginner
and im glad I saw this as I can appreciate what you refer to in the photos above.
