Leffot Horween Leather Belts

Leffot in NYC is on a roll at the moment. It would seem that every shoe or accessories project they touch just gets it right – a rare feat these days. The latest is their own in-house leather belt made from Horween leather. “Chromexcel is the original pull-up leather made with old world craftsmanship; it carries on a long history of superior comfort and durability. We currently offer two models handmade in Maine each 1.5″ wide and each look great”

Hobsons Brewery

What beer logo better fits a menswear driven website?

Hobsons, based in Shropshire, produces a wide range of CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) endorsed brews. These take rather amusing names – Town Crier, Postman’s Knock, Twisted Spire, etc. – which provide for equally amusing tales printed on the bottles themselves. Their commitment to local sourcing has also made Hobsons, possibly, the most sustainable brewery in the UK.

A selection of Hobsons finely designed bottle labels after the jump.

Alexander Olch Spring/Summer 2010 Neckwear

Here’s a quick look at the forthcoming neckwear from Alexander Olch for Spring 2011. “New York-based designer Alexander Olch has been dropping amazing neckwear for quite sometime now and his Spring 2011 collection is no different. He’s bringing in an array of fabrics into the mix including some raw silk, while the product range is still solid with neckties, bowties, suspenders, and pocket rounds some of the few pieces you’ll see featuring these fabrics.” (porhomme)

Moncler Gamme Bleu Coat

Selectism - moncler-gamme-bleu-fur-jacket-01

Fur collared coats have a tendency to look rather ogliarch-esque at the best of times, but this one bucks the trend. It actually looks like something you could wear to a football game (although you would have your own box, no sense mingling with the commoners in a £1,200 coat). And before anyone starts, no we don’t know if it’s real fur or not. We don’t want beef with Peta. (Farfetch)

Drakes Cotton Pyjamas

Selectism - drakes-pyjamas-01

Want to be a baller? Shot caller? Brawler? The kind of man who wears Drakes Pyjamas? Of course you do. Which is why we’re recommending this. At £250, it’s not cheap by any means of the word, but you should factor in how often you wear – which should be every night considering how much you paid for it – and do some calculations about how much it’ll cost per wear. That method is commonly known as the ‘justification for an expensive purchase that may not stand up to any scrutiny’. (Drakes)

Imogene + Willie Jack Chore Coat

selectism - Imogene+Willie Jack Chore Coat

Our favorite little brand from Nashville, Imogene+Willie, have launched a new website. It’s a simple platform, in keeping with their simple, handcrafted garments. Among our favorite pieces at the moment is the Jack chore coat. They’ve “modernized” the fit, but retained the “jack-of-all-trades” DNA of the chore coat. One of those pieces with near impossible to deny appeal.

The coat, worn, after the jump.

Now you’ve done all your Christmas gift buying (you have, haven’t you?) it’s time to get yourself a gift or two. Why not start with this Aspinal dog tooth patterned scarf? It’s getting chilly out there, so protecting your neck is a priority for everyone now – not just the Wu-Tang Clan. (Aspinal)
