Nike’s work with Steven Alan on a new signature collection is possibly a sign of the direction of future collaborative works to come. Nike made available their archive to Alan who selected four models for the collection which features his “classic with a twist aesthetic.” “Visiting the Nike archives, Alan was drawn to the Air Zoom Toki, Air Max Talache Low AC, Air Zoom Lava Dome, and Air Zoom Magma AC. He then stripped each performance-based style down to its basic form before adding his famous detailed sensibility.” With Takahashi’s Gyakusou Running Collection for NSW which also extended to apparel, we’re wondering what else may be in store in the future …
The collection drops tomorrow, January 21st through Steven Alan doors and online.
