Available in a few colors, these Marchercher boots feature a full leather upper with the classic white farmer sole – which is purported to be a signal to farmer’s wives as to how clean their husband’s boots were. True or not, I dont believe you’ll be seeing any farmers rocking these anytime soon.

Celebrating ten years of  Yohji Yamamoto’s work with adidas, Y-3 presented their Autumn/Winter 2011 collection in Paris this week. Some notes on the inspiration: “Y-3’s new men’s collection takes inspiration from nature and the concept of escape, including blazers, trench coats, parkas, and high boots in tones of army green. At the same time, there are explosions of riotous Japanese print, captured on soft bomber jackets and button-down shirts, worn with knitted leggings or slouchy, sarouel-style sweatpants. Accessories include printed sneakers, white Chelsea ankle boots, and wool trapper hats.”

For Spring/Summer 2011, Our Legacy releases a couple pieces from their collection. They’ve redone the chino in perfect “Our Legacy” styling and offer the pant in three different colorways: khaki, olive and blueberry. The pants are produced in Portugal and offer polyester buttons. Give it to Margiela’s designer for trying something out of the ordinary with this “wood effect’ shoes which look as stiff as you can imagine. “Brown leather wood effect shoes from Maison Martin Margiela with a stacked effect heel and elasticated insert within.” Farfetch has them.

The lastest men’s bag from Dries Van Noten for Spring 2011 features a gabardine plaid pattern with leather accents. Run it as a shoulder or hand bag. The shoulder strap is a plus on this bag with its wide finish. Should sit well.  thecorner has them.

We know we’re drowning under a sea of collection previews and tradeshow roundups, but we had to show you this new collection from Olivier Borde. We’re baffled as to why Borde isn’t in more stores worldwide but take our word for it – we spent ages in their showroom giving everything a feel up – it’s great quality. We’re particular fans of the sweatshirt, although the whole collection is covetable.
