It’s another Junya Watanabe piece on a blog, the shock, the horror, the surprise. But this one is on sale, which means that it’s only a hundred or so out of your budget as opposed to three hundred. It does look nice though and we’re sure someone out there has been doing finance with the Wu and has now come up big with diversifying their bonds. (Browns)

But on that floor, hidden between classic brogues, and Japanese denim was New York’s Rochambeau who continue to re-imagine and move menswear in a direction which does not hark on the past – a good thing for the continued progression in menswear.

Curated previews the upcoming Richard Phillips exhibition at London’s White Cube. “No stranger to popular culture – his work has featured on Gossip Girl and in collaboration with Jimmy Chu – Richard Phillips unveils his latest on January 28, 2011 at London’s White Cube Gallery. The subjects are familiar (or at least they should be), Phillips has painted what he considers the 10 most recognizable celebrities. There’s Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus, Justin Timberlake and Zac Effron. The choices may be lost on older generations, the main goal here is to connect people disenfranchised by the art world to painting. Begs the question, is it successful?”

Notcot turns us onto a creation so bizarre our headline looks oxymoronic. But apparently, these are a real creation by Cire Trudon for those moments when you have a smell emergency. We’d imagine many a man throwing these all over his apartment before a date arrives (and then nonchalantly acting like his place smells like this all the time).
