Umit Benan “Investment Bankers” Autumn/Winter 2011

Even though we have already previewed the collection about six weeks ago, we have to revisit the topic once more, after having come across the above image. The Turkish designer keeps on impressing us with his sharp design aesthetics and presents for Autumn/Winter 2011-2012 a line that is entirely inspired by Investment Bankers in the 80s. The suit is very dominent in the new collection. The colors used in the line are simply beautiful and at times very unique. On the other hand the designer uses very classic colors and styles, yet manages to give each piece his very own look and twist. We love the collection and cannot wait to see it in stores later this year. It sure looks like Umit Benan continues to rise and it will be interesting to see how far he will go.
