Selectism - tosca-table-lamp-01-curatedmag

Curated turns us onto this nice piece of furniture.

“Created by Designwork in 2007, the Tosca Table Lamp is produced by Italian manufacturer Foscarini. With three base choices, the interchangeable scheme only amplifies the handsome nature of the basic aesthetic. It’s simple, clean, and perfect for any home.”

Patrik Ervell Autumn/Winter 2011

Selectism - patrik-ervell-autumn-2011-01

We know the blogosphere’s canonised Michael Bastian as their New York fashion week favourite, but we’ve always been bigger fans of Patrik Ervell. It has the wearability of other American designers, but mixes in some new ideas that take it a few steps above the constant nostalgia. It’s the kind of clothing that Tomorrows World would’ve predicted we’d be wearing in 2011. And we mean that in the best possible way. (Style.com)

Selectism - Richard-Chai-Original-penguin-fall-2011-1

The ongoing Richard Chai/Original Penguin collab continues this autumn with their recent New York presentation. It’s on the wearable side of things, but that’s no knock. We’re fans of the coats and knits, which we’ll surely be coveting come september.

Band Of Outsiders Autumn/Winter 2011 Collection Runway Presentation

For the first time Scott Sternberg showcased his Band of Outsiders collection for Autumn/Winter 2011 on the runway, during New York Fashion Week. The LA designer continues to present his smart schoolboy look. He was inspired by 70s hiking for the coming season and smartly mixes that with his signature look. Fur jackets and accessories certainly stand out and the footwear was once again provided from the Band of Outsiders for Sperry Top-Sider Collection, which featured an interesting mid cut boot this time around.

Take a full look at the Band of Outsiders Autumn/Winter 2011 Collection after the jump.

Loden Dager Autumn/Winter 2011 Runway Presentation

Loden Dager presented their Autumn/Winter 2011 collection this weekend during New York Fashion Week. The knits stand out for the season – color blocks and snowflakes work well against sweaters and pull-overs – as do those mustard drawstring pants. Some Southern influence is seen as well. Let us know what you think.

Club Monaco at Browns

While we’re not sure if this is a capsule collection for Browns in the UK or simply that Browns has the UkK exclusive on the collection, it does give us a moment to take a look at select pieces from the CM collection. The cardigan, knit blazer, and varsity jacket we showcase are strong pieces from the collection. The prices run the gamut here. Browse away.

Bespoken Autumn/Winter 2011 Collection Presentation

Next up is a recap of the Bespoken Autumn/Winter 2011 Collection Presentation. The brand worked with lots of grey tones and grey wool for their upcoming collection. We also enjoyed their footwear for the new season, taking inspiration from more rural outdoor styles, yet adding a more sleek look to it.
