The more the better, I say. The Victoria & Albert Museum (better known as V&A to many) have opened the doors on an off-site reading room in South Kensington. The Reading Room features a wine bar that encourages you to stroll and drink through their more than 1,000 titles – including more than 120 titles from the V&A library. Some out-of-print books are available in the room that covers topics from art, design, fashion, and beyond. (ldg)

Canadian rugby kings Barbarian have cooked up a special batch of product for Urban Outfitters. Included, logically, in the package is Barbarian’s signature rugby shirt. This incarnation is dressed in gray and navy with pink and white accent pinstripes. The shirt is complemented in the collection by a henley hooded sweatshirt and two cardigans.

You Must Create (YMC) has been crafting great menswear for quite awhile. This season, they’ve taken the traditional hunting pattern shirt and designed the piece with a suede elbow patch accents. The shirt features: 100% Premium Cotton, single chest pocket with closure, contrast buttons and the piece is limited. The dark navy sets the tone for the shirt. This shirt would make for a pretty good lightweight over-shirt jacket for the Spring, or you can layer it over a thermal underneath your winter coat. END has them.

Hammarhead founder James Loughead’s latest gem is a custom Ural sT. The bike debuted in original form in May 2010, and Loughead has striped the already clean bike to bare essentials. His inspiration was drawn from Ural’s racing bikes of the 1940s, in some respect this custom giving new life to the brands heritage and tradition.

As you might’ve guessed by now, we’re expanding our shirt collection this spring. To paraphrase Snoop, ain’t no fun if the homies can’t get no floral prints. It’s not for the faint hearted but it’s pretty easy to wear if you layer it under a jumper. It’s timeless style. (Wood Wood)

Although Rag & Bone are a long way away from being the blogger’s brand of choice, they do make some nice pieces. Longtime readers should know we love a bit of patchwork, even if it’s the one thing guaranteed to garner negative comments. Anyway, we take a distinctly Diddy approach to negative comments. We’re tempted to make an O.L/O.G joke, but our brains are too frazzled to think of anything. Despite our inability to make a suitably witty first sentence, this is still a nice shirt. It’s linen though, so obviously hold back on wearing this until things heat up. We’re not to blame if you get too excited by this purchase and end up with a cold. (Coggles)

We still feel it’s a little early to be swapping our chunky knits for lightweight blazers, but here’s something that’ll be good for a few months down the line. You could even wear it now, provided you layer it with a light crewneck and an overcoat.
