We all know about Cabourn at this point, so let’s get straight to the point – this is a handsome jacket. It’s a linen affair so you’d probably be best off waiting until it heats up a bit before getting this one. A wise man once said that ‘nothing makes a man dress for a season that isn’t here yet like an expensive coat’. This wise man may be us watching a man wearing a Cabourn parka when it was still autumn. Here’s a first look at the handmade leather accessories from Missoula, Montana’s own Draught Dry Goods. The items are function first, simply detailed products. The phone carry, shown above, is cut to house an iPhone 4 and ones cash and cards. Draught’s other leather goods are similar in relationship to the things housed within.

Continuing the London menswear theme, here’s a look at Christopher Shannon’s show from yesterday. If you have a love for the quilted, the sporty, or the quilted and sporty, then this show is for you. Beams Plus just landed in Tres Bien and here’s our pick of the bunch. We all know about the M51 at this point, but if you’ve got an aversion to a vintage one, this Beams one should do the trick. It’s got that sweet, techy stuff that everyone adores including a removable lining that uses polartec – which, apparently, will keep you warm. You could wear them on their own as well, but the overall ugliness of the lining should prevent anyone from doing that. (Tres Bien)

We’ve gotta admit, we were a little taken back when we heard news of Oliver Spencer’s catwalk debut but the results were pleasantly surprising. Followers of Spencer should know what to expect (we even previewed a couple of the pieces back at Capsule) but newcomers should be pleasantly surprised.They used a diverse range of models, including the usual suspects – aka the kind of guy you’re ashamed to admit you recognise – amongst some interesting fellows and men about town.
