Henrik Vibskov gives us another amazing piece from his Spring 2011 collection. The “Svrune” jacket has “concealed zip and press stud fastening, three flap pockets, a drawstring hood, and fastening cuffs.” We really like the slanted flap pocket designs, which makes it easier to access those pockets. The entire jacket is made of 100% cotton and comes in a “Dark Marine Coated” colorway. The fuller fit of the piece allows for a better look with slimmer pants and shirts. We’re looking at the Hermes iPad case one more time. Yes, there are two. The simple Hermes “Swift” sleeve will be made available in 10 colors. We like those options! The Hermes iPad “Station” version which opens to allow for use as a stand will come in four flavors. Expect to pay 580 euros for the Swift and 990 euros for the Station. Both are made from beautiful calf skin leather. These Hermes cases may be our favorites of the moment, but you have options.

Field Notes adds a sheet of dry transfer lettering into their do-it-yourself kit for Spring 2011. Feel free to write anything you want. I would probably write “NACHO HUNTER.” Has a nice ring to it. Find them online or soon through any decent retailer.

Blackbird continue their custom make ups with Alden with these saddle shoes. It’s out in a few makeups and just looks sharp. The whole buy less buy better thing definitely applies to shoes, which is a beaten horse at this point. But Alden make great shoes and you won’t regret not taking your partner out for a few nights. They’ll understand, right? This is a pair of Alden shoes we’re talking about here. It’s probably best you don’t use that argument. (Blackbird)

Magculture has news of Mono. Kultur’s new issue. We haven’t been able to get our mitts on a copy but M.C noted that this issue is done in A5 landscape format, which is a nice change. A lot of magazines are doing the landscape thing, but when mixed with the portrait layout you’re usually left turning the magazine sideways every few pages – annoying, to say the least.
