Philadelphia’s leading coffee house, La Colombe, has introduced a new line of single batch coffees. Master roasters Todd and Jean Philippe roast and sample each type of bean individually before approving them for a La Colombe Blend, and with Atelier allow the consumer an opportunity to experience coffee in its rawest form.

The first offering from the program is Haiti – Blue Forest. “Blue Forest, an heirloom typica variety, is grown semi-wild in the mountains of Haiti, a rare and historical coffee as it comes from an unaltered line traced back to the first plant cultivated outside of Ethiopia. What’s more, Blue Forest is the only Haitian coffee in America, of specialty grade.”

This Spring, one of our favorite sneakers, the 09/63 plimsoll from SeaVees, gets dressed in linen. The silhouette will continue to find color inspiration from the riches of Pantone, which launched the matching system in 1963. Four colors are available now, all muted and all perfectly suited for denim or rolled chinos.

Swiss Miss alerts us to an item we’ve been on the lookout for lately – a good bed side table. Yes, we know a bed side table isn’t the sort of thing we should be looking for – sorry, we’ll get back to searching for double monks another time. In case you were wondering, we prefer the orange version.

Famed for custom shirts and suits, Seize sur Vingt offers bright, snappy looks for Spring/Summer 2011. The lookbook also features garments from the brand’s “rowdy” little brother, Troglodyte Homunculus – a name bested only by the superb mustache on the model.

Given Seize sur Vingt’s custom heritage, the looks shown here are mere suggestions of a range of warm weather possibility.
