The Nordic look in the Autumn/Winter 2011 collection from Sacai will be a popular one. I, for one, am not convinced on the short pants for the Autumn season but maybe my weather in New England is slightly different than the streets of Tokyo. The gents at Mr Porter sent over ‘in the ring’, their newest editorial. This one showcases athletic gear, using two amateur boxers as models. It goes without saying (well, it almost does because we are saying it) that the gear is a couple of steps above the shorts you wear in school and an old Smith t-shirt – the current SL workout uniform of choice. Don’t judge us, we can’t be fashion all the time.

We can’t get enough holdalls in our lives. It’s gotten so bad we’ve resorted to placing them on walls like they were pieces of art. And when that stopped working we trying using them all at once, just to show that they were all useful. And now we’re looking at this bag. Don’t consider this a short article – it’s a plea for help. We often hear about how hard it is to wear a granddad collar. Baloney – like most things, it’s as hard as you want to make it. We don’t see why it’d be difficult to wear this with any sort of dressed down outfit, it’s just clothing people. To put this into basketball terms, you should stop acting like all Jared Jeffries and start being more like Ray Allen from the 3pt line. (ASOS)
