We’ve been on the lookout for seersucker trousers lately. Don’t ask us why, we just have. So our sartorial spidey senses started tingling when we saw this pair from E.G. You can always trust Daiki the God (aka the DZA) to come up with one piece of clothing that’s more of a need than a want. Although everything can called a wardrobe essential these days – cargo pants being called an essential is a prime example of this epidemic – but this will be a good wardrobe builder. (The Bureau)
Having seen a few clothing mishaps up close, we know a thing or two about a poorly managed ‘brand extension’ – have you seen some traditional shoe companies attempts at trainers? No? Your eyes have been saved from some Saw 2 levels of monstrosity. So we were surprised as anyone when we saw Diemme’s first foray into casual footwear. If you’ve ever looked at a pair of CP’s and thought ‘yeah, these are cool, but I need chunkier eyelets’ this is the shoe for you. (Tres Bien)
Diffusion line time! This time it’s a first look at Oliver Spencer’s turn who, after his go on the catwalk, is creating a lower priced shoe diffusion line for the folks who can’t do the fusty old man shoes but want to leave their sneakerhead days behind them. There’s only two shoes in this line, the ‘Cricket’ (pictured above) is a lightweight derby and the ‘Kyak’ is a moccasin-esque boot. They’re only available in Spencer’s new shoe shop, so if you really love them you’ll have to pop in, get your proxy on or, you know, wait.
“We taste-tested dozens of frozen pizzas from the grocery store and online to find our favorites—these top-scoring pies really deliver.” (rachelray)

04. LEGO : A Natural History of Package Design
“This is the 1958 box for Lego set 700/5.1 It shows three children so absorbed in play that they couldn’t even bother to look up at the camera. The children weren’t models but Lego’s managing director Godtfred Kirk Christiansen’s daughters Hanne (l) (who tragically died in an auto accident in 1968) and Gunhild (now Gunhild Johansen) as well as his son Kjeld (future owner of the company and heir to the Lego fortune).2″ (coudal>codex99)
“Bottega Veneta has created a short film on the subject of travel, made in collaboration with the photographer and director Christian Weber. The film, entitled “Viaggio Notturno,” is set to debut in April on the brand’s web site and select other online venues.”
Billfolds? I’m tired of them. I much prefer a zip-up to keep it all in one place. You may prefer a wallet on the bulkier side, stuff with cards, receipts, and all manner of paper. You have the right to. All others interested in toning down their “wad,” should explore the Soulland options available at Goodhood.
A proper leather men’s hold-all from the Gucci line. What makes this one yours, is the woven details. “Discreet double ‘G’ insignia and a panel of woven intreccio detail. Evoke timeless, jet-set cool by teaming this handsome bag with crisp denim and a cashmere sweater draped nonchalantly over the shoulders.”Mr. Porter carries it. Fans.
Japan’s Beauty and Youth modify the Sperry Top-side Seamate for their own formulation. The special one-off for their shops is available in two colorways. Linen (we believe) on the upper. United Arrows has them. Proxy away.
Not the first time we’ve looked at the Bill Amberg iPad cases, but with the iPad 2 (and 1) in hand, we figure some would be interested in their leather works as well. Made from bridle leather with contrasting liner and detail. A simple button closure completed them.
Curated looks at the 2012 calendar from Jacques Magazine. “The Jacques Calendar is an oversize [ 12" x 17" ] edition of girls from the pages of Jacques Magazine.” I goes without saying that we’re fans of the magazine. The calendar is a nice bonus. Coming in July.
