Get ready for the Royal Wedding in the most appropriate possible way – by getting your hands on a bottle of Brew Dog’s limited (to 1000) Royal Virility Performance Ale.

Amazing. More looks at the packaging after the jump.
Mr. Lacroix, or as ‘crush on you’ era Lil’ Kim calls him ‘Christian Lacross’, has teamed up with Kronenbourg 1664 for this exclusive set of designed beer bottles, pint glasses, trays, bowls and coasters. It’ll launch in June, coming in the form of two limited edition box sets. We’re not really sure why you’d want a Kronenbourg bowl – even one designed by Mr Lacroix – but come June, you’ll be able to get your mitts on one. (Vodka & Co)
Boat shoe season is nearly upon us, and with it our search for that perfect Summer essential begins. Eastland’s Made in Maine Freeport USA is filtering into stocklists now. As of this weekend, Grahame Fowler in New York will be carrying the Eastland Made in Maine Freeport USA in navy/green as well as brown. The Freeport USA will roll across the United States and Japan as Spring continues into Summer.
Both styles are made using Horween Leathers, sipped rubber boat soles, genuine leather welts, American rawhide laces and true moccasin construction. Handsewn in, of course, Maine.
“Large or small, with baseball bat or pencil as base, Peter Schuyff’s sculpture succeeds in tantalizing form. They twist and turn, they showcase the grain of the wood, they are, essentially, excellent.”
T-shirts. You need them, you probably neglect them (in favour of that fancy sportcoat) so it’s time to stock up on them. Why not start with some of that sweet, organic stuff in the form of this Fil Melange t-shirt? And obviously stock up on that deodorant too, brown isn’t the most forgiving colour when it comes to sweatpatches. (CHCM)
The super chunky shoe falls in and out of fashion favour on a seasonal basis but we can get behind this pair. Mainly because they avoid that high heeled effect that a large amount of chunky shoes (especially the vibram versions) have. Wear these with washed Seinfield/Obama jeans. (Paul Smith)
At this point featuring Mismo is like shooting fish in a barrel but hey, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. And Mismo’s bag are ridonkously well made, as we’re sure you’ve been told a few times if you read these here web destinations (calling yourself a blog is so old school). And, more importantly, you can actually take this to work and still look respectable. It’s a Win win. (Tres Bien)
Haven’t you heard? There’s a civil war out in these blogging streets. Some people don’t like the way others blog and others are offended by being told the way they blog is boring. Us? We’re chilling on the side, sipping a pina colada ’90s rapper style. Make loafer love, not war, so they say. (End)
“A documentary of life on the road with Sonic Youth and Nirvana – during their tour of Europe in late 1991. Also featuring live performances by Dinosaur Jr, Babes In Toyland, The Ramones and Gumball.” (The Documentarian)
02. Luke Will Miss Strip Clubs When He Becomes Miami’s Mayor
“Luther Campbell knows a thing or two about politics. As front man of Miami bass outfit 2 Live Crew, Luke has had his share of run-ins with politicians. In 1990, the group’s third album, Nasty As They Wanna Be, was ruled obscene and illegal to sell in U.S. District Court. The ruling was overturned in Supreme Court two years later. Now, almost 20 years later, Luke has his eye on the other side of politics.” (XXL)
03. Sample Sleuthing
“A couple of weeks back, a forum member on the-breaks.com managed to solve one of the oldest sampling mysteries still out there: where did the bassline for “Shook Ones II” come from? Amazing, for fifteen years, no one had figured this out though that wasn’t for lack of trying.” (Soul Sides)
04. Also, clothes are pretty. So there. Nyah.
“Yesterday, I read an interesting little article that included a comment by Reese Witherspoon; she appeared to suggest that people working in fashion ‘lacked perspective’. My first reaction to this was a little petty, in retrospect, but I couldn’t help but think, ‘What – this? Coming from an actress?!’ In a way, people working in fashion deal with much more tangible aspects than those in film, unless you count documentary or biographical work, I guess.” (Tokyo Tombola)
Tokyo’s Gucci flagship has produced a special charity bracelet for the Japan relief effort. The adjustable sized bracelet goes on sale April 23 with all proceeds benefiting the Red Cross. (h)
