Much respect to Blackbird. They now carry the 12-inch cast iron skillet from Lodge, one of the best pans I own and what should be staple in any man’s kitchen. Lodge grill pans are also highly recommended. Best thing is the pre-seasoning – so no need to cook bacon in it for a month or back it in salt before becoming master of stove top burgers.

We haven’t featured much Hope on SL (the brand not the feeling) so we thought we’d rectify it by showcasing their latest collection. As you’d expect from an autumn collection it’s rammed with desirable coats and knitted goodness, as you’ll be able to see after the leap.

Following the release of J. Lindeberg’s bi-annual book ‘A Documentary and A Dream’ earlier this week, we caught up with creator Jorgen Ringstrand to find out his thoughts on the collection, how the book came together and his favourite people to shoot.

Confession time: One of the SL team is a huge Prince fan (hint: he’s writing this post) so any clothing that has any sort of Prince reference is guaranteed an appearance on this here site. We haven’t posted a coffee table book in a while so we thought we’d go HAM and post a mammoth of a book. Frank Lloyd Wright is often noted as America’s greatest architect and this book is the volume one of his complete works. As you’d expect from a first volume, this covers his early work, of which you can see some spreads after the leap. Available May 15 from  Taschen.
