Highsnobiety gives their take on the Warriors of Radness x Opening Ceremony Capsule collection: Beach Crew! “The line offers a series of shirts, tank tops, t-shirts, crewneck sweaters and more for both men and women. The designers at Cape Madras shows us their take on the “perfect summer attire” longsleeve shirt. The company believes that madras fabric is “the best warm weather fabric ever created.” The garment does have lots of history to it: the fabric gets its name from the “English name of the city of Chennai, India with their’Madrasi checks’.” Cape Madras’ shirt has a button-down collar and shirttail hem. It’s made of 100% cotton patch madras and is offered in two colors: Trundy and Richmond LS. All garments are made in India to pay respect to the origins of the fabric.

A true essential to have for the summer is a black pair of plimsolls. Topman have makes them very affordable. Their take on the shoe is very subtle in design and exudes a sense of class with this basic. The shoe comes in “black canvas” with a slim sole and a round toe. The lace-up would go pretty good with almost anything for summer.

Parisian brand, Kitsune deliver their Spring/Summer 2011 collection in excellent form. They’ve created the shorts from classic seersucker material. They call it a “must have in your globetrotter collection.” . The piece comes in two colorways: beige/cream and blue/white. Italian made and long.

Garbstore delivers this “Mountain Men” figure set direct from Japan’s Research. The four “mountain men” ‘garbed’ in classic decades old hiking and mountaineering goods include Marx, Mao, Lenin, and “Civil Disobedience” writer, Henry David Thoreau. I’m not exactly sure how he got packed in on this excursion.
