ACNE Rugby Boat Long Sleeve T-shirt

ACNE has created some strong pieces for this holiday season. Their rendition of the traditional boat neck longsleeve looks to be a great addition to any wardrobe. The garment features a “trim and modern fit,” with a soft hand to the fabric which adds for breathability in the warmer days. The shirt offers a very minor embroidery of an “A” that exudes a sense of wealth. The classic monograms were worn on longsleeve shirts back in the day when the well off spent holiday in exotic parts of the world.

selectism - 21st Amendment Hell or High Watermelon Wheat

21st Amendment excels in dreaming up particularly charming graphics. Luckily, these are backed up by solid suds. For Summer, the SF-based brewery offers their version of a wheat beer – the Hell or High Watermelon Wheat.

Here’s what they say about their warm weather tipple, “Hell or High Watermelon Wheat is our summer seasonal beer available from April through September in six pack cans and on draft. We start by brewing a classic American wheat beer, which undergoes a traditional secondary fermentation using fresh watermelon. A straw-colored, refreshing beer with a kiss of watermelon aroma and flavor.”

Of course, and as with all 21st Amendment Beers, Hell or High Watermelon Wheat comes in a slick can.

Here’s something else from Curated:

“A partnership between Kristalia and Neuland Industriedesign studio, this dynamic chair was originally produced in 2010. Made with either a hide upholstered seat or in polyurethane, the Elephant Chair is available with either solid beech legs or on a swivel base.”

Curated turns us onto this:

Nick Davis comes produces sculptural bronze furniture and home accessories with exacting attention to detail. His coat hooks – hands and feet – are most representative. They cast impressive shadow in Davis’ small ICFF booth, and certainly add a little intrigue to any interior.”

Head Porter ‘Brighton’ Backpack

Selectism - porter-backpack-01

Head Porter just fell in at End and here’s our pick of the bunch. We’re sure you’ve got at least one backpack by now, so it’s time to broaden the collection a little bit. Our only problem would be that we’d resemble ‘Where’s Wally’ when wearing this with a breton shirt. (End)

Selectism - damir-doma-jacket-01

I think it’s safe to say that we’re official members of the Damir Doma outerwear appreciation society (DDOAS for short). And, as members of the DDOAS we feel obliged to point this jacket, which just fell in stores now. We’re still uncomfortable with saying dropped, so we’re gonna say fell instead. It just sounds cooler. (The Corner)

Comme Des Garcons Floral Skull Print Shirt

Selectism - comme-des-garcons-skull-floral-shirt-01

Like floral print? like skulls in your floral print? Well you’re in luck. This CDG shirt has all that and some 3/4 length sleeves to round off the trend ticking box. We’ve noticed that CDG has fallen behind Junya in the desirable designer stakes lately, but we’re still fans of both, especially when  they’re churning out bits like this. (Ssense)
