Rag & Bone High Wakefield Boat Shoes

These hi-tops from the Rag & Bone collection work. While we may not call them true boat shoes, you get the idea. “Textured leather boat shoe boots in black. Raised whipstitched seam at round tapered toe. Contrast stitching in beige. Brown leather lace-up closure and side detail. Silver tone eyelets” Ssense has them.

Mira Schröder Inhabits Bless Home, Berlin.

bless shop relocated into the third floor of a residential building and re-emerged into a “home” concept in Berlin’s Prenzlauer Berg hood. One of the interesting plays in the new bless home is the rotating artists that house the space. The latest, “Mira Schröder, a German exhibition design + curatorial practice graduate and brand collaborator” has “reset” the shop’s look and feel. If you plan on visiting Berlin this summer, we advise you to swing by bless home. (sn)

Selectism - thom-brown-eyewear

In news that’ll please ankle bearers worldwide, Thom Browne’s announced that he’s signed a licensing agreement with DITA eyewear to produce some glasses. There’s no news on what they’d actually look like yet (the above picture is just of his SS11 collection), but it’s interesting to see Browne branching out like this. According to DITA they’ve “always seen ourselves as waging a revolt against mediocrity and uniformity. Thom Browne is the only fashion brand that we believe is truly worthy enough to join us in the uprising.” So join the uprising and buy some glasses!

Selectism - mihara-yashuhiro-jacket-01

Here we go with the flowers again. This time it’s on a jacket which, admittedly, is a little more difficult to wear than a floral shirt. Then again, like most things clothes related, it’s a matter of confidence. We hate to to turn this into one of those silly macho contests, but are you man enough to wear a floral jacket? Are you? Yes? Ok. (Mindtrive)

Puma for Undefeated Canvas Clyde Trainers

Selectism - puma-undftd-clyde-01

We’re more accustomed to suede clydes, but we can rock with canvas ones too. Undefeated have been doing blog friendly collabs for a while now – remember those Adidas ones from last year? If there’s one thing that can be taken from the great blog explosion, it’s that menswear bloggers love a bit of beige on their feet (us included, humourless ones). So beige it up with these Clydes, you’ll receive a nod of approval from people you’ll never meet in person. (Crooked Tongues)
