Isn’t the name Trevor great? It’s so safe, so dependable, so what you’d want a denim jacket to be called. And thankfully, that’s just what Wrangler’s Blue Bell collection have done with this denim jacket. Like all things denim related this season, it’s washed and, therefore, it’s cool.

The unofficial trainer of choice for one member of staff here at SL, here’s a look at Springcourt’s Autumn/winter 2011 collection. As usual, we like it, but, as usual, we like pairs from the women’s line. In fact we like them so much that we’ve decided to just post them up anyway.

We put this up last year and we’re still shocked it hasn’t found its way to the UK (or the western hemisphere in general). If we were betting men, and we are, we’d say that this was part of Cabourn’s Japan only collection, although we’ve always thought pieces as basic as t-shirts should always be worldwide. We guess that’s what proxy’s are for – although we don’t blame you if you don’t feel like shipping a t-shirt halfway around the world. (Museum Arks)

Ready for floral print on your bandanas? Of course you are. The print on this bandana isn’t overwhelming, which’ll make it easier to mix into an outfit. It’ll be the parsley of an outfit as opposed to a hot pepper – complimenting instead of overbearing. (Garbstore)

To be honest we have not been paying too much attention to Closed these last couple of years. While we have always appreciated their denim and especially cotton pants program, the brand somehow slipped our mind. A while ago we ended up walking into their booth at a fashion tradeshow and checked out their Autumn/Winter 2011 Collection.

Much like the rest of the market, Closed had gotten wind of the heritage trend and styled much of their upcoming collection after it. Overall we have to say though, that the collection looked very solid. Rather than going too far with the inspiration, the brand managed to take details and silhouettes out of heritage and added their own flavor and modern take to it, with the result being an easy to wear, casual collection, with lots of nice details.

Here we take a look at the footwear of the upcoming collection, consisting of some hiking boot styles, high rise boots and our personal favorites, the fur lined desert boots.
