If we were the kind of dull Dylan lovers other music fans are we’d call this a guilty pleasure. But we’re not, so we’re not going to do that. Zane Lowe won’t approve but we think we’ll get by without his cosign. Also, aren’t we glad the era of the leather blazer is over?

Selvedge Denim NATO Style Watch Strap

Highsnob points us at these NATO straps made from selevdge denim, available on Style Forum. Not sure if this is the first NATO watch strap to be made from the highly coveted class of denim, nor should it be your last NATO strap (for those still working through their variants). Maybe overkill if you’re rocking selvedge ends on other garments. You have been warned.

Update: It’s actually nylon made to look like Denim. The warnings should still be heeded.

dior homme ss12 0 Dior Homme Spring/Summer 2012 Runway

Our Berlin staff attending today’s Dior Homme show in Paris. “Today we attended the runway show of the new Dior Homme Spring/Summer 2012 Collection in Paris. Kris van Assche presented a sharply tailored collection, exclusively using white, beige, black and grey tones with outfits mostly styled entirely tonal. In terms of aesthetic the designer styled work clothing in a more casual way, yet with very sharp lines. Most models were also outfitted with hats, adding even more casual flair to the line”

Spring Break Snowboards
01. Report: Spotify Will Launch in U.S. in Mid-July
“This might be one of the last articles you’ll ever have to read about Spotify planning to launch in the United States. A publication called Noisecast claims to have obtained an email from “an executive of a major label” stating that the much-loved freemium music service will launch here “between July 5 and July 15th.” Earlier this month, Spotify’s global vice president of sales said the service “won’t launch before July 5th” in this country, lending some credence to this new report.” (evolver)

02. Does Coaching Win Championships?

“The dominant talking points in the days following the Dallas Mavericks’ victory in the N.B.A. finals last week were predictably hero- and player-centric. Had the M.V.P. Dirk Nowitzki forever shed his “soft” label? Had LeBron James choked? Was it all his fault, Miami’s defeat?” (nyt>6thfloor)

03. Public Radio Name Generator– name yourself today!

“Always wanted to be a host on public radio but don’t have a name with the international punch of Doualy Xaykaothao, an Ofeibea Quist-Arcton, or even a Daniel Zwerdling? Not to Worry! Enter your name below, and we will suggest a new public radio-friendly version. The rest is up to you..” (prng)
