A peek at a few looks from Baron Wells Autumn/Winter 2011 collection. The NY label has kept things relatively sober with greys, creams and blacks the order of the day. Slim suits, high waist trousers, fitted jersey, wool shirting and lots of hoods – plenty of opportunities for layering as things get chilly. -ld

Sweden’s Grundéns have been making foulweather gear since the 20’s and these guys are pretty serious when it comes to keeping you dry. Designed for those who spend their working day at sea, their high-tech laminations and membranes are breathable and hard wearing, as they put it themselves ‘if you are standing under a fire hose hour after hour, there is still nothing better than PVC-coated fabrics for ultimate protection.’ The fact that their Nordan jacket looks pretty cool is probably lower down on their list of priorities. Herman Miller has released a new limited Asia edition of the iconic Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman. This version comes in all black, featuring black plywood framing and black premium leather. The chair is delivered along with a limited edition vintage poster of the chair. Both the framed print and the chair are limited to 100 pieces.
