Mismo back! Using new materials is always a risky move, especially when it’s one with a reputation as bad as nylon. If you can move past your childhood memories of wearing awful nylon streetwear (that might just be our childhood memories) then the usage of nylon is quite refreshing. The fact that it’s an upgraded version of a Mismo mainstay doesn’t hurt either, that shoulder strap will save us whenever we meet someone who insists on hugging it out. (Tres Bien)

Comme des Garcons SHIRThave gone the way of the courier with this PVC bag. Waterproof and hard wearing, the bright blue is a common colourway in their wallet line. The envelope design makes this one a bit more interesting, resembling a large, eye poppingly bright jiffy bag, if you do decide to use this whilst riding your bike you won’t be missed. Yeah, yeah, we know this isn’t technically music. But we couldn’t help but post up this footage of Paul Weller interviewing Curtis Mayfield, two of our favourite musicians in their own right. This is also vital footage of Weller just before he had his descent into Toni & Guy-esque haircut hell.

The Varvatos work with Converse, by some people’s theories, looked to have been a short relationship. Truth of the matter is the line actually gets better by the season. Fans of ephemera from the art deco movement will applaud the new Art Deco Postcards book from Thames & Hudson. Its a great document into not only the architecture from the movement but the landscape that is set. The book shares more than 250 take-away and postcards that captured everything from nightclubs, airports, buildings, and beyond. These card served not only as a way of communicating with home when on the road or holiday, but also a reminder for the present of an artform that may have faded. A beautiful document.
