A look at one of the most important components in the production and fabrication of Red Wing boots. Fountain pens may not be the most practical of writing instruments (refills, accidental ink spills…) but they’re just so satisfying to write with it’s almost impossible to dismiss them. Swiss company Caran D’Ache have been making their perfectly constructed pens for decades now, in fact you probably received one of their coloured pencil selection tins in your childhood Christmas haul. Inis Meáin is the real deal in terms of traditional Irish knitwear. Based on the Aran Islands they’ve seen a surge of interest in recent times and deservedly so. Originally designed for local fisherman and the community around them, they’ve developed a modern take on the classic Aran without losing any of the good stuff that made it so popular over the years. This Button up jumper uses a cable knit chest panel and comes in navy. Frans Boone has them.

Yes, we understand your love of The Simpsons but we’re just suggesting that having silver Duff beer charms hanging off your cuffs might not be a good move.
