Selectism - maharishi-london-undercover-umbrella-01

Need a brolly? Of course you do. We’ve all been caught out by random downpours lately – especially all those times when we’ve been brave enough to leave the house without a light raincoat. We all know the functional elements of an umbrella but, most importantly, this umbrella will help you get your zebra on. (Maharishi)

Remade in Switzerland Cocoon Blouson

Selectism - remade-in-switzerland-blouson-01

As Kanye didn’t say, ‘That ish Rae. burn’. We’ve featured a couple of Raeburn summer jackets before but this is the first time we’ve seen Raeburn’s Victorinox collaboration in stores. First off, what we like about this coat: the way it looks. WHat we don’t like: the price. It’s that simple. There’s more details than you can shake a detail stick at – they exist, don’t ask us where to find them – but at nearly a grand, we don’t blame anyone if it’s outside of their pay bracket. (Oki-Ni)

Selectism - ami-wool-trousers

You’ve probably heard about Ami, they’re the new French brand that’s trying to out-APC APC. There’s been accusations that APC have been slipping lately, so it is the best time to Marlo Stansfield your way into the game – especially if you’re also French and can give an interview without sounding pissed off at the world. It also helps if you can do a good staple, something Ami do very well. (Mr Porter)

A look at the Timo Weiland Spring 2012 runway show from New York Fashion Week.

“Showing in a runway format for the first time since their launch in Spring 2010, the collection expressed a lightness through the inspired imaginings of Jean-Michel Basquiat’s enclave of artists and friends when he lived in Hawaii later in his life. A city by the sea theme could be found in the sheer and lightweight pleated dresses paired with cotton utility jackets in the women’s collection and varsity jackets, floral shirts, and color blocking that referenced scuba gear in the men’s.”
