Flying Junction gives a knod to HBO’s “Boardwalk Empire” with a new series of street prints inspired by the 20’s and Atlantic City. As Kanye didn’t say, ‘That ish Rae. burn’. We’ve featured a couple of Raeburn summer jackets before but this is the first time we’ve seen Raeburn’s Victorinox collaboration in stores. First off, what we like about this coat: the way it looks. WHat we don’t like: the price. It’s that simple. There’s more details than you can shake a detail stick at – they exist, don’t ask us where to find them – but at nearly a grand, we don’t blame anyone if it’s outside of their pay bracket. (Oki-Ni)

The key terms from the designer are “architectural minimalism with sartorial functionality.” Graphic patterns in the Simon Spurr collection are inspired by British Naval “dazzle” camo; also known by the more appropriate “razzle dazzle.” Worth a look.

The First String line from Converse is doing an incredible job of elevating the brand into a position that deserves attention. An great example is this SAK made collaborative doctor’s bag made from Italian brown leather. It features hands, a detachable shoulder strap and Converse sole prints on the interior bottom. 14 total bags were produced. Aloha Rag has them.
