Los Angeles’ Co. Collection showcases their Spring/Summer 2012 offering through film as directed by Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter. The Co. offering is for women, of course, but we could not resist sharing the film with you all.

J. Crew presented their Spring 2012 looks during New York Fashion Week. Frank Muytjens, head of mens design J.Crew says the following on the collection: ”Every season we’re trying to push newness in our own way by looking at classic shapes, looking at historical military garments to update them, and pairing different elements from different time periods in one look for distortion and something unexpected.  It is this creative process of mixing colors, fabrics and shapes which keeps it refreshing.”

We’re never going to give up on plaid shirts, seems silly when they’re so easy to wear and look as good as this offering from Woolrich Woolen Mills. While it’s not breaking any boundries as far as originality goes, what it does it does well. Time to get your Fairisle on. This most traditional of knits keeps on coming year after year possibly due to the fact that it just looks so damn good.
