nigel cabourn eddie bauer vests 1 Nigel Cabourn for Eddie Bauer Canadian Vests

Way back in January, we previewed the Nigel Cabourne work for Eddie Bauer. We mentioned it looked to be an EU exclusive and this still remains. END has stock on two excellent “Canadian Vests” from the collection. Avaialble in orange check and midnight blue, the vests were originally designed for the military but today, flipped in the way only Cabourn can: Harris Tweed hits, square quilting with calf skin shoulders.

Selectism - scott-schuman-01

There’s a few things Scott ‘The Sart God’ Schuman would like you to know. 1 – He doesn’t like Tavi’s steez. 2 – only his girlfriend is doing anything interesting online right now. 3 – he’s got paper stacks bigger than you (especially you, Tavi). 4 – magazines are dead (and not just because none of them can afford to hire him anymore) and 5 – he gets money, money he gets. Read the interview for yourself over at The Talks.

Parmesan Cheese Pencils and Shaver

Germans love making weirdo goods. Check this Parmesan cheese sharpener from Kolle Rebbe for The Deli Garage. 500 units of the set were produced (and instantly sold out). Inside each package, consumers discovered truffles, pesto and chili parmesan flavored pencils with a special shaver sharpener and more. Awesome.

Bell & Ross and Harley-Davidson Racing Motorcycle

An interesting pairing between Bell & Ross and iconic motorcycle maker, Harley-Davidson. UK dealer Shaw Harley-Davidson approached Bell & Ross regarding the bike design which was “inspired” by the watchmaker’s vision on “performance, precision and engineering.” Using the Harley-Davidson FXSTB Softail Nightrain base, they worked together in developing a housing for the Bell & Ross BR 01-92 Carbon watch. “The watch mounting positioned the timepiece in an ideal place for its primary function as a professional tool for the rider.”

The collaborative Harley-Davidson is tour in the U.S.A. beginning tomorrow. Look for the motorcycles in September 29th in Newport Beach, California, October 14th in Denver, Colorado and October 21st in Nashville, Tennessee.

Spellbound Denim Work Cap

28 September 2011, 14.00 | Posted in Fashion | No comments »

Spellbound Denim Work Cap

Spellbound continue their good work in the denim sector with this work cap. Lots of nice detail with the peak stitching and hook fastening. Inspired by headwear of old, imagine yourself driving a train or toiling in the fields with this one. We’d recommend ignoring the price tag though, might spoil the working man illusion a little. Oi Polloi has it.
