Albam Deck Jacket

Albam Deck Jacket

Albam take a crack at the Deck Jacket, an item that continues to creep into men’s collections, driven perhaps by a growing interest in naval clothing or simply just because it’s a fine piece of outerwear. Made in England with Italian Windisle cotton to keep those high sea gales out, the lining is a soft merino wool, not standard military issue but guaranteed to keep you warm. A two way Riri zip. leather zip pull and drawstring hem make an appearance, a limited run, you might want to get involved as quickly as you can.

Iron Heart Salt and Pepper Work Shirt

Iron Heart Salt and Pepper Work Shirt

Iron Heart are the kind of brand that make me want to toughen up. Clothing made to last; heavy denim, thick cotton tees, tough flannel shirts…this Chambray workshirt is no exception. It’s good to see salt and pepper fabric make an appearance, commonly used in early American and European workwear, it continues to look as smart as ever. 10z Selvedge chambray, Cat’s eye buttons and chain stitch run-off, an ideal winter layer.

Epaulet, Liberty London Paisley Shirt

Epaulet got together with Liberty of London to create a impressive selection of shirts. Based on Epaulet’s classic slim fit, we’d say these have a more tailored feel than Liberty’s own famous shirt line. The 100% cotton fabric is yarn dyed and woven in Japan. This particular model will appeal to the trend fans out there with its paisley print, one from the archives, ‘The Bourton’ is just the right side of interesting.

Selectism - falke-nordic-socks-01

Now here’s a pair of socks that’ll go well with a red hooded Ray J-esque sweatshirt. We often find it hard to wax lyrical about socks because, you know, they’re socks. There’s a science to them, but there’s a science to your freezer as well – that doesn’t mean you want to hear some in depth talk about them. What you want to know is that they’ll look good, feel great and give you that Ray-J* steez we all want. (Oi Polloi)
