England’s Edge of Belgravia sent over two more kitchen knives – this time from their Damascus Steel series. The Damascus Steel line is Edge of Belgravia’s top tier offering of knives. Both elegant and incredibly functional, the Damascus Steel is composed of 67 layers of hardened carbon steel. We’ve been using both their chef’s knife as well as the paring knife.  As expected both performed very well in our kitchen tests. Balanced well, the Damascus Steel extends into the handle as well. For those looking for a separation on grip, this may be a consideration. Overall, Edge of Belgravia offers a strong alternative to more expensive knives on the market. Nothing in lost in quality, cut, or design.

We let this one breathe since last Friday when Cool Hunting let the cat out of the bag. Today, Park and Bond’s “The Intersection” delivers a proper dissection of our special Selectism by Tumi Alpha Four-In-One Duffle Bag. It has been in the works for some time; a proper travel bag, built tough, while allowing for expansion as needed. Denizen, an off-shoot of Levi’s, worked with Japanese electronic engineer DJ Daito Manabe to produce this video showcasing his magical music machine which producing sounds based on movement. We’ll let LS & Co. explain more “On his latest project with dENiZEN™, he is making music with the movements of the human body. Working with celebrity choreographer Mikiko Mizuno and some of Japan’s top hip-hop dancers, Daito designed unique sounds for each dancer’s unique personality and dance style. Together, the dancers created music that truly moved to their own beat.”
