Many look back on the gritty, grimy, in your face NYC of the 90’s with great affection. Romanticising the past is something we’re probably all guilty of, perhaps it’s the real driving force behind the heritage ‘movement’, but we digress. Bruce Davidson’s images of Subway life will only serve to fuel this back-in-the-day love fest. T Magazine gives us a insight into the series which is being re-released as a book and is also showing at Aperture in New York.
