When is a striped tee not just a striped tee? When it’s a striped tee from Warehouse of course. Ok, it’s still just a t-shirt with stripes on it but these guys know how to make even the simplest of styles just that bit more special. This one is for those afraid to get too breton on that neckline, still round enough to avoid any sailor comparisons. Find it at Mr Mudd and Mr Gold

I swear I’ve got the same shirt for €20,- from H&M 1-2 years ago, and cotton is just cotton. Same quality.. And this shirt is about €108.!!
No, cotton isn’t just cotton. There’s plenty of varying degrees of quality and I’m like to bet that H&M quality cotton will wear out faster, stain easier and generally be worse to wear than this one.
“I’m like to bet” perhaps, but have absolutely no basis for saying so other than you really would like it to be true. I’m willing to bet the Warehouse one is 1.) hyped more shamelessly, 2) coveted by poseurs & 3) is simply more scarse & can command a higher price. Hype + scarcity does not = quality.
