New York City’s own Freeman’s Sporting Club introduces their current Autumn/Winter 2011 looks featuring a selected and clean collection of clothing built for, well, guys. Refined suiting and jackets are in there as well as knit shawl cardigan, service overcoats, and more. The gallery is filled with both product shots and styled looks. We’re fans of the photography in the  Mjölk lookbook for Spring/Summer 2012, as we are with key garments in the collection; all of which look to offer very distinct cuts which move aware from the formed shapes of the classic silhouettes of the past few years. Expect oversized fits that may fall on your form in new manner. Check the high waist, slim leg men’s trousers are of interest, as is the track suit with its exaggerations. Shot by Ryan Johnson and styled by Glenn Kitson, UK pro-skate legend Garry ‘Woody’ Woodward takes to the streets of Manchester to showcase labels such as Patagonia, Buzz Rickson, Tellason, Reigning Champ, Patagonia, Heritage Research, Carhartt and Red Wing. Their first venture into lookbook territory, the focus is on keeping it wearable and gimmick free.

Camper, refusing to stick to comfortable foot wear, have dipped their toes into yet another pool. This time they turn to Japanese architect Shigeru Ban to create a pavilion in association with the Volvo Ocean race. “This circular, visually airy structure is open on all sides and characterized by its imposing colonnade of recycled paper tubes. It is designed to be assembled and dismantled easily and quickly in order to travel to marinas around the world where the yacht ports are located along the race.” Ban has worked on projects far and wide, specialising in paper based structures, he was featured in Time Magazines 21st century innovators in the field of architecture and design. Photographer Bruce Weber is interviewed over at The Talks this month. Their last interview with Scott Shuman did cause a bit of a stir. Do not expect the same. Mr. Weber re-affirm that he’s a normal guy, taking photographs, who happens to collect Larry Clarke photography. He’s done work for Abercrombie & Fitch and others. Take a read.
