Taschen's "Cars Now!" Book

We’re not usually fans of things with exclamation points but Cars Now! looks good enough for us to make an exception. With features on just about every brand making cars today, it’s the sort of guilty pleasure book you put next to your unread Tolstoy biography. Published by Taschen. Available December 24 from Amazon Taschens Cars Now Book.

Uniic Pepper Mill

uniic peppermill 1 Uniic Pepper Mill

How do you wax lyrically about a pepper mill? If you’re us, you’ll talk about something vaguely related to the pepper mill, like how you can never get good pepper at your local KFC anymore and then waffle on for a bit about that. And then you mention at the end that is this a handsome looking pepper mill, which this is. It’s even made from local trees, making it more eco friendly than your usual pepper mill. Which is nice. Available from Gestalten.

Our friends at James Perse continues their great work with the Seavees line of footwear. Their latest work comes in the form of a brush suede lace-up court shoe; a slight change from the Perse/Seavees slip-on offering. California 60’s style remains the theme. The eyelet guides show off a subtle detail. Clean and wearable by all.

Selectism - the-exhibitionist-issue4-01

The Exhibitionist, published by Antenne, is as specialist as a magazine can be, focusing solely on ‘the practice of exhibition making’. In short, it is a magazine for actual curators. Published twice a year, it takes a deep look at the issues surrounding curation today. To put it simply, if you want to call yourself a curator you should start off here.

Alden Cordovan Blucher

Selectism - alden-cordovan-blucher-01

At this point writing about Alden is damn near cheating. After all, their shoes are the sort of thing you’d wear to impress your partner’s parents – and we mean that in the best way possible. These Cordovan shoes are the sort of shoe we’d seriously consider entering Occupy Wall Street for. Although spending half a grand on shoes isn’t exactly OWS behavior. Tres Bien has them.

H&M Menswear Spring/Summer 2011

New looks from the H&M menswear offering for Spring/Summer 2012 are finding their way online. The collection remains in the casual nature of the H&M brand, but brings a more formal or business-like feel to the overall collection. Tight cuts keep it all aligned in a H&M collection that features striped pull-overs, knit sweaters, parkas, and double-breasted blazers which are colored seasonally appropriate. Do wee see corduroy overalls leather shorts in there as well?

Burberry Prorsum Leather Tote Bag

15 November 2011, 18.30 | Posted in Accessories | No comments »

Burberry Prorsum Leather Tote Bag

Burberry Prorsum delivers a leather tote bag that will make you second guess your last bag purchase. It seems incredible that the men’s accessories market refuses to slow down – and why should it? The new offerings continue to make it hotter than the women’s side of the business at the moment, through more than likely, not in sales. The orange-tan leather finishes this tote bag up nicely. Mr. Porter has it for $1795. Maybe you will not be doing that second guess…
