After attending their London fashion week presentation, we caught up with B Store’s Matthew Murphy to find out about what B Store are up to, their growing womenswear collection and what’s next.

Alison Jacques Gallery will host Ryan McGinley’s large scale exhibition, Wandering Comma, from 24 November. Ryan continues his series of ‘young folk frolicking on a naked  roadtrip’, however everything feels a little more weighty and grown-up than previous work. As the gallery describes, “Ryan McGinley’s aesthetic has evolved over the past decade from a verité snapshot style to one that is more cinematic, even epic. More director than documentarist, McGinley has recently made photographs in which his imagination has become imprinted on the reality he captures. His working method involves a careful balance of the orchestrated and the unpredictable, the staged and the spontaneous.”

Park & Bond mean business with their newest addition. The Nepenthes shop-in-shop will offer a rare opportunity to buy the brand online. It’s hard to believe that this Japanese label has been doing its thing since 1988. When it introduced its first U.S store in New York last year east coast lovers of oddball heritage finally had a place to call home. Now it opens its arms to a wider audience with one offs and exclusives as well as pieces from family members Needles and Engineered Garments. We’re finding it hard to let go of summer. We’ve tried to console ourselves with repro USN peacoats, limited edition deerskin gloves, cashmere socks and all manner of hand-knitted beanies but, in the words of REO Speedwagon, we can’t fight this feeling anymore. The Barbados shoe by Lacoste is a last grab at sunshine happiness. We particularly like the bold turquoise canvas, a shoe to take you back to those lazy hazy crazy days of summer. All seven of them.

Masters of the collab, Tricker’s now find themselves shaking hands with the guys at Newcastle’s End Clothing. Digging into the archives the ‘End Hunting Co’ chose the long-wing Golosh country brogue. They’ve added a few exclusive touches in the form of contrast leather, durable Dainite soles, canvas heel pull and a single alternate brass eyelet. The relative simplicity of this collaboration makes this shoe that little bit special. Find them at End.

Shot by ErikbyErik across stark Stockholm landscapes, our well turned our adveturer finds himself lost amongst the rubble, old tyres and assorted trash all the while sporting RMF’s classic down vests, trimmed with leather and sheepskin. We don’t know if the young man featured ever made it safely home but rest assured whatever his fate he met it dressed in his finest.

04. Twitter starts pushing out real-time activity streams

Founded in 2009 in London, the first Tweed Run New York edition took place on October 15th, 2011. Check out this moving fashion show in the above video.

Aesop have opened another store in Japan, this time in Ginza. The interior uses red bricks to reflect the look of the street the store’s on. Formerly a shoe store, this sense of heritage apparently works well with Aesop’s DNA. We have to admit, we have absolutely no idea what brands are on about when they talk about DNA and the like, but the store looks like. See more after the leap. (Think Silly)
