New York’s C.Chauchat delivered this collection of neckwear for the Robert Geller A/W 2011 collection. Inspired by the  ”dusky mauves and greys of Visconti’s epic ‘The Leopard,’” the collection mixes Swiss cottons and overlays of silk with solid color chiffon and polka dots. Friendly enough to spruce up your holiday attire.

Spoon & Tamago let us know about the latest creation from Naoya Misawa. The Fin Lounge Chair received 2nd place in the Erik Jorgensen Design Awards this year and most importantly, looks really cool. We’re not sure how comfortable it is to sit in, but it’ll be worth it when as long as you get photographed by some cool and slightly voyeuristic interiors blog.

London’s BERG delivers the Little Printer in 2012. What is it?

It is a little printer, literally.

“Little Printer lives in your home, bringing you news, puzzles and gossip from friends.” Using your smartphone, you can configure Little Printer with subscriptions to make yourself a ticker-tape like newspaper. Looks interesting. Would be great to leave at your kitchen counter to send love notes to your partner or reminders to feed the dog. We think they’ll sell millions.

This is a watch that travelers may consider. How many times have you been on the road, usually in another timezone, and battle internally as to which time to set your watch. I, personally, always reset my wristwatch to the local time. Others may not. The new Duo 24 from Germany’s Botta Design solves this dilemma with a “second” (not seconds) hand that keeps you aware of another timezone.

The main scale on the outside of the Dio 24 shows the local time while the second scales is set to your choice timezone – I would set it for “home.” The Botta Design Duo 24 sits at aroun $400 USD – a nice price. Looks great as well.

High-end retail collaborations continue to be the highlight of the the shopping experience for the big box stores. H&M today announced their latest collaboration in the world of fashion with Italy’s Marni fashion house. Delivering on March 8, 2012 for Spring/Summer 2012, the Marni for H&M collection features a re-boot of Marni’s original prints for men and women, including accessories – all at H&M’s controlled price points.

Marni’s founder and creative director, Consuelo Castiglioni, tells us, “I love juxtaposing prints and colors, mixing modern tribal with Bauhaus graphic and adding sporty utilitarian elements.” Expect much of that this March when the collection drops to the masses. Expect the usual excitement from this one.

They bring that little boost of freshness to lines in the middle of their autumn and winter offerings; specially tailored for the holiday shopper needing to bring the new to the gifting. You would think that after more than three years of revival that the classic schoolboy backpacks – with their leather strappings and bonus hardware – would drop out of fashion. Clearly not, as more companies continue to push whatever they can from the forms. Jojo Messenger is right there with their current collection of bags for the Centre Commercial shop. Problem is: I feel like I have seen this look before. The canvas on the Jojo Messenger looks solid enough, but I would be more inclined to purchase this form if they were a bit more unique.
