Available now at all good newsstands is the The New Yorker’s “Cartoons of the Year” issue, highlighting more than 250 of the best moments from 2011. Cartoons by Roz Chast, Bruce Eric Kaplan, Jack Ziegler, Danny Shanahan are featured.  Bruce Eric Kaplan (who signs his comics as ‘BEK’) is also famous for having been a supervising producer during the first season of “Six Feet Under.” Pick up the new issue of The New Yorker this month.

1960s Kartell 4801 Armchair by Joe Colombo Re-Issue

Great news are coming from interior brand Kartell. The iconic 4801 armchair, originally designed by Joe Colombo is being re-issued. Originally released in 1965 in plywood, the chair returns in plastic this time. At the time they were not able to produce the chair in plastic. Kartell is known for their plastic design objects, so the chair is a great fit. This time around the chair comes priced at about $2,000 USD.

The 6876/Fred Perry collab was the result of some mining through the archives of 6876, bringing back some of their greatest hits, so to speak, alongside some original creations. One from the archives, this car coat has all those little things we appreciate – handwarmer pockets with button tab closure, concealed superlampo zip placket – you know, that kind of thing. End has it.
