$300 wallets from the Stussy Deluxe line?

We admit this number is up there, but this expected when you do some work with the UK legendary leather works company, Ettinger. It is a surprise collaboration to be honest: how is it that a streetwear brand focused on delivery quality goods to their core clientele sees it important to work with one of the few that are granted the Royal Warranty seal?

The price point on the wallet places it even above their Master-piece backpack, which comes in at a reasonable $280. But then again, maybe we have it wrong in our heads. This could be the gift that everyone wants.Available for $300 from Stussy boutiques and online.

Everyone’s a footwear aficionado these days. If you can’t name at least three types of sole then you may as well hand over your ‘Menswear’ membership card now. We’ve featured a few of those ‘off down the woods to collect logs and hang with deer’ gloves. The rough and tough variety that allow you to pretend to be hunter or competitive logger. Now we turn to something a little more refined.

Tailor Timothy Everest does a nice line in accessories, these gloves are our pick of the bunch. Hand made, hand stitched in England. Brown leather is trimmed with a bright yellow but behold the lining; purple Scottish cashmere no less. Too fancy for communing with wildlife.

Okolo Magazine returns for its third issue, this time focusing on the Austrian capital. “Renowned for Art Nouveau, traditional crafts, architect Adolf Loos, gigantic schnitzels and delicious coffee, the city prepared for us a series of unique encounters thanks to which we were able to form our own perspective of the Austrian capital.” Aside from some great features and photography, the magazine is worth a flick through for the design alone.

The OKOLO group, a collective of creative types involved in fashion, architecture, and art, even developed their own font for the issue; OkoloMono designed by Jan Novák.

Legendary photographer Joseph Szabo documented teenage life from the 70s and beyond during his career as a teacher. Best known for the books ‘Teenage’ and ‘Almost Grown’, he reveals his full collection of thousands of images in the film ‘The Joseph Szabo project.’ Directed by David Khachatorian and George P. Pozderec, Long Island life through the perspective of it’s youth is uncovered through interviews and stories from Joseph himself. The Bored, the big haired and the underage smoker in all their black and white glory. Twin tells us more.

Another little exclusive from the North Sea Crew. We had to bring you up close and personal with this one because it’s both navy and a satchel which means it has a head start against all the other bags. The great thing about this one is that it’s taken a classic style and made it less 1940s schoolboy. Not that there’s anything wrong with this look but it’s nice to see the ubiquitous kids carrier made a little smarter for the grown-ups. Of course, construction, materials and fixins’ all top notch quality, hitting stores soon.

Issue #2 of David Chang’s quarterly magazine, Lucky Peach, is available now (well, it has been since the end of November). As we mentioned with issue #1, Lucky Peach is a very new take on the world of food and cuisine magazines, with coverage that ranges well beyond the simple recipe. Many consider it an unconventional take on the topic of all things foods. Check the dead fish on the cover to get you interested…

Inside issue two of Lucky Peach, readers will find words and writings from some greats, including Anthony Bourdain (who looks to be a Lucky Peach regular contributor), Ferran Adria on “something” foam, stories on cakes, Rene Redzepi on vintage vegetables, Tajikistani apricots with Adam Gollner, and more. ‘Hidden Heroes’ is the ongoing exhibition at the London Science museum that celebrates the everyday design objects that we overlook.

Coming this Februrary 2012 from agnes b. is their new sneaker collaboration with the classic Asian line, Feiyue. As Highsnob reports, the sneakers will retail for $66 and come in a mix of canvas and suede uppers against two colorways. Look for them stateside at agnes b in early 2012.
