For the lucky few in New York City and Los Angeles who got their chance to see Lana Del Rey live before the end of 2011 and more importantly before the release of her new album, “Born to Die,” we envy you. With her build-up in the ranks of the blog world and mainstream press forthcoming, Del Rey will certainly be the hottest ticket and rising star for 2012 and beyond.

After the closure of the Freeman Transport company, Ben Ferencz turned his focus to working on design and development with friends at Jack Spade producing a special run of caps for them (and others as well). With that work in mind, he has launched the FairEnds company. The concept is a simple one: produce minimally designed caps and goods that simply do their job on the streets and in the wild. Working with Martin Carvajal, formerly of Freemans Sporting Club, the two are working on non-branded goods to complement the cap line, including totes and more.

Richmond VA’s Need Supply works over a pair of Indy boots with New England’s Alden shoe company. Since we’re all familiar with the quality of Alden (no questions there) it all comes down to the colorway.
